Thank you for visiting my cooking channel. My name is Michael.
I live in Indiana. I really do love to cook.
I remember buying a hand held mixer when I was 19. It had a little cookbook in the box, that is how I learned how to make mashed potatoes, my cooking started with that.
I am here to give you ideas of what to cook, hopefully some good and different ideas.
You might not like everything that I cook, but I am sure you will like some of the video recipes.
Update... As of April 2019 I will be making some Keto Recipes, they will be in a Keto Playlist.
Thank you for watching, it helps support me!

Strawberry Bundt Cake
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon coarse salt or 1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 and 3/4 cups sugar
1 lemon zested then juiced (1/4 cup lemon juice or so)
3 eggs
1 and 1/4 cups sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 and 3/4 cups strawberries chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
Preheat oven to 325F and generously grease a bundt pan and dust with flour
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda or sift.
In a larger bowl, mix the oil, sugar and lemon zest.
Mix together with a mixer, the best you can.
Add the three eggs one at a time along with the salt to the oil, sugar and zest bowl.
Beat this very well.
Add the sour cream, lemon juice and vanilla to the oil, sugar and eggs mixture, beating very well.
Add your flour mixture and mix with spatula to combine.
Add your strawberries and mix with spatula to combine.
Add this batter to your prepared bundt pan.
Level out the batter and tap the pan a few times.
Bake @ 325F for 60 to 70 minutes.
Mine took 65 minutes.
Cool the cake in it's pan on a rack for 15 minutes.
Then turn out the cake onto your serving plate to cool to room temperature.
Once the cake is cool, you can glaze your wonderful cake.
Makes 8 servings
Glaze:
I chopped up 3 or 4 strawberries finely and mashed them some to make 1/4 cup.
1/4 cup mashed strawberries
2 teaspoons lemon juice saved from your fresh 1/4 cup lemon juice.
2 cups powdered sugar
Mix with a fork or a whisk to make the glaze.
I only added one cup of powdered sugar.
It looked okay to me and was white/pink in color, but you can see that the glaze turned clear and into like a sauce after an hour.
Next time I will use two cups of powder sugar or more, instead of the one cup.
My using only one cup turned out with the glaze soaking into the cake. Tasted great but not impressive looking.

Canadian Sweet Sour Hot Wings

These Sweet & Sour Hot Wings are mild and a favorite of mine. I hope you try them. A suggestion for dipping sauce would be Ranch Dressing. Also a dish of extra wing sauce to dip them into, but that would make them much spicer for those who prefer spicy! This bundt cake came out looking amazing ... now we want to give this a try. Cheers 8)
Thank you!!
Michael, thank you for sharing this recipe. I made it last night. It is delicious and very moist. I used 2 cups of powdered sugar for the glaze and it still went clear. I think the strawberry juice makes it runny. That’s okay though. It’s really good.
Wonderful! Glad you like the cake. It must be the strawberry juice is too much for the powdered sugar, thank you for letting me know. You've been subscribed for 10 years now!
Oh Man this is going on my recipe playlist. I'm making this as soon as I can. It came out beautiful YUM 😋
Thank you! You will love this!

Holding your plate? You want some? hehe... Thank you so much, I sure appreciate you!
I do want some. I'm hungry, lol. It does look really good
Dude, I've been cooking for fifty years. Aside from adding some minced red bell pepper & celery, That's pretty much the same recipe I've been using since I learned it from my grandmother in 1976. I normally. Go with minced scallions, as opposed to red onion just because they're a bit milder. But your recipe is flawless. 👍
Love your thoughts, thank you!
I have always used russ potatoes. Excellent recipe 👍Great Video. Thanks
Thanks for watching
So, do you preheat your oven?
Yes and thank you for your question.
That meatball sub looks so mouth-watering 😋 but I'm not an eggplant fan
Thank you !!
@MichaelsHomeCooking you are so very Welcome 💞
OK, you have most of the basics right, but people in NYC usually choose sauerkraut or onions, but not both.
That's okay, I like both.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!! This is a much make!!❤❤
Thank you 😊 If you make this, be sure to season it your way!

Looks delicious never tried it but now im gonna have to
Thank you so much for looking around my stuff! This is a good one in my opinion. I'm getting an Insta Pot delivered tomorrow. I have pressure cooked many times in my years, but my old stove top one I had kinda gave out on me in a way, plus the bottom of it was not flat. I do not like to cook on my glass top stove with anything that is not flat. Hope you had a good Mother's Day and everyone waited on you!
@MichaelsHomeCooking I have on you are going enjoy cooking in it! I had a great mother's day! Lots of gifts 🎁
Looks really delicious! I shouldn't watch this hungry
